The Millennium Polaris LS (Long Straight) is a great first choice in drivers. It has a flight pattern much like perennial Discraft favorite the Elite XL and works great as a backhand or sidearm driver. While it goes straight with little fade when backhanded, it tends to curve left for right-handed sidearmers, occasionally finishing with roll. Grows with you as you improve in your game.
